Earl Street · Daytona Beach
Noodles, out of the wok.
A small kitchen doing Chinese cooking properly: noodles tossed to order, dumplings folded here, and nothing sitting under a lamp. Call it through and it is ready in fifteen.
Call the kitchen directly and the whole order comes to us, which is how the prices stay where they are.
The menu
Cooked when you order it, which is why it takes fifteen minutes and not five.
Lo Mein
Tossed in the wok with cabbage, carrot and scallion.
General Tso’s
Fried to order so it is still crisp under the sauce.
Dumplings
Folded here. Steamed or pan fried, eight to an order.
Wonton Soup
Clear broth, folded wontons, and not much else in the way.
Beef & Broccoli
Thin sliced, quick cooked, broccoli still with a bite.
Spring Rolls
Rolled here, fried on order, four to an order.
The Kitchen
Wok on,
and straight out.
One burner, one pan, one order at a time. Noodles go in dry and come out glossy in about ninety seconds, which is the whole reason they taste like that.
Fifteen minutes from the call. Anything sitting longer than that is not what we want to hand you.
